Payment for Meals
Meals maybe paid for in advance or cash is accepted in the cafeteria. Students have an ID card which is used to deduct the price of the meal from their account at time of service. Payment may be made by check sent to the school secretary or by credit card online at http://www.mylunchmoney.com. No student will be turned away due to no balance in their account, but a substitute menu may be offered.
How to Apply for Free and Reduced Meals
Free and reduced cost meals are available to all students whose family income meets federal guidelines. To apply for free or reduced meals submit a completed application to the food service office. You need only complete one application per family even if you have students in different schools. The district makes every effort to not overtly identify students who are free or reduced.
Menus
Menus are designed to meet the USDA guidelines for nutrition. All menus are checked for nutritional value and must meet standards for nutrition. No more than % of calories may come from fat and each complete meal must offer at least 33% of recommended daily nutrient needs for school age children.
